We are small company consisting of the wife Angie my son Josh and then myself Kev

Angie- looks after the money side, And for me to bounce ideas off and she make a mean cup of coffee

Josh- who helps out in the  factory and does some of the web work, at moment Josh’s time is taken up at collage studying computer gaming and web design I think

Now myself

I have 40 years of experience as an engineer (tool room), Motorcycle and car mechanics repairs, and have kept aquarium fish since I was 10 years old, in the late 80’s I moved into marine

The hobby was very expensive and time consuming then came the 90, I purchased an awesome 8 foot tank from Wharf aquatics near Pinkton, Then the shock to the system came the price of the equipment to run a marine tank that size required a mortgage, The wife and I decided to make the equipment with my back ground knowledge, We searched the internet for information on how the equipment was built after many moths of research it was decided that most of the equipment out there was ether to expensive or was not suitable or to expensive for what it was

My first skimmer was made from any items I could find it worked well. not very steady and it leaked my second was fantastic and ran my 200 gallon system for months. we also made, sand towers, weir covers, calk reactors, fluidise reactors, bristle worm traps, float switchs, plus many other items

Talking to some fellow aquarist on a fish Forum we started a thread called taking on the big boy

We then decided to have a go. The company was founded with the name Kesh the name comes from my own name ( KEvin   S  Howell )

We have been making custom built equipment now for over 10 year

We moved to Grimsby in 2003 and spent the next year prototyping new with investment of new equipment CNC Router and CNC lathe milling machine floor and a manual lathe folding machines also vacuum forming, hydrogen polisher plus many other expensive stuff

Items we have prototyped large skimmers, Refugiums, fluidise reactor, calcium reactors, Overflow boxes, frag racking, weirs close loop systems, some large equipment for some of the big names in marine fish keeping large wall mounted calcium reactor sand tower plankton reactor by the score bio media towers complete aerobic and non aerobic systems

We have made equipment for some of the large public aquariums and many of the country universities & collages

We have now started to make off the self item for the smaller hobbyist; Soon to be on sale Refugiums in 6 sizes some will include a skimmer, Overflow boxiest 2 types both in 6 brace bar sizes 25mm- 150mm
